Roche Joins Forces with PathAI to Enhance Digital Pathology Capabilities for Companion Diagnostics

- Roche signed an agreement with PathAI to advance precision medicines by integrating AI interpretation and companion diagnostics. The algorithms developed under this collaboration will be deployed using Roche's Digital Pathology solution
- As per the agreement, PathAI will jointly work with Roche Tissue Diagnostics (RTD) to develop AI-enabled digital pathology algorithms for companion diagnostics whereas both PathAi & RTD will continue to develop their algorithms for companion diagnostics
- Earlier in Oct 2021, both companies signed an agreement to jointly develop an embedded image analysis workflow that allows PathAI image analysis algorithms to be accessed within Roche's navify Digital Pathology Software platform
